Where We Stand

No Compromise

Under no circumstances should there be talk of compromise in regards to abortion. The fact that Presidential, and lesser office candidates have spoken of such a compromise is cause for concern. To take that stance is to be Pro-Choice. We will neither endorse nor support any nominee from any political party that is willing to compromise with innocent preborn human life.

No Exceptions

The statements made by political candidates alluding to the need for exceptions when it comes to abortion is exactly what propelled Roe v. Wade early on. “Safe, legal, and rare” was the mantra. This quickly morphed over time to “abortion-on-demand” for any reason, at any time, even after birth. Because History inevitably repeats itself, no exceptions to abortion can be tolerated by a truly civilized society.

No Middle Ground

Far too many candidates for office seem to insinuate that middle ground could be found regarding abortion. National peace was the reason. However, as the original intent of Roe v. Wade evolving into “abortion-on-demand” indicates, no “peace” is attainable and no “middle ground” is satisfactory for abortion advocates whose mantra is now “Restore Roe”. They will always seek to redraw the line. With them, there is no middle ground. Nor is there for us.

Count The Cost

The recent decision to compromise on abortion by former  President Trump candidates and other political candidates who take the same stance, is that the fate of innocent human life is negotiable and a reasonable price to pay for political gain. That price has always been too high. We will not sacrifice the next generation on the altar of political expediency.

Make Your Choice

What President Trump has made clear is his willingness to abandon a solid Pro-Life stance for the chance of a second term. This is a choice we hope he will reconsider. As it stands, neither he nor any other Pro-Choice candidate will have our support. That is our choice— a choice we will not reconsider.

FAQ

questions?

Answers from a Biblical perspective.

Abortion isn't in the Scriptures. Or is it?

Answer: Yes, abortion is addressed in the Bible. However, not in the way most Christians expect. The first mention of abortion is in Exodus 1:16, but it has been, until recently, lost in translation. To read a more in-depth answer, click this link… Abortion isn’t in the Scriptures. Or is it?

Abortion is the "Law of the Land". Doesn't that settle it?

Answer: No, it does not settle it. Just because a law is put into place does not make the law right or that it cannot be changed. In fact, the Biblical witness indicates that loyalty to God can often mean disobedience to the laws of a land, even the direct command of a king. To read a more in-depth answer, click this link… Abortion is the “Law of the Land”. Doesn’t that settle it?

You can't legislate morality, can you?

Answer: Yes, you can. Morality is, in its most rudimentary sense, what is deemed acceptable or right conduct. When laws are written, they are expected to be right and just—moral. But is that all laws are intended to be? To read a more in-depth answer, click this link… You can’t legislate morality, can you?

What about compassion?

Answer: Yes but no. The terms “gospel” and “compassion” are commonly used to pad a Christian’s pro-abortion argument. But using these terms is not as coherent of a defense as one might think. To read a more in-depth answer, click this link… What about compassion?

Isn't abortion a political issue?

Answer: Yes, it is. Abortion is a political issue. However, does the Bible prohibit Christians from weighing in on political issues such as abortion? To read a more in-depth answer, click this link… Isn’t abortion a political issue?
