The Old Testament

When approaching abortion in the Old Testament, there are a number of ways it could be addressed. Perhaps the clearest avenue would be in dealing with the issue of child sacrifice, that first appears in the narrative of Abraham, which spans through the time of the post-exilic Prophets and the Intertestamental or Second Temple period. The New Testament & 2nd Temple Period

When we approach how the New Testament addresses certain topics and practices, it’s extremely important to recognize that the contextual matrix and theological worldview from which the writers were drawing is incredibly rich. This richness is due in no small part to the 400 years that preceded it, known as the Second Temple period. In […]

Introduction: Abortion & The Kingdom

Instead of beginning with the oldest scriptural references to ascertain the correct stance a “Christian” should take on the global issue and practice of abortion, it seems much more prudent to work backwards toward the earliest foundations of Christianity. Contrary to what most would assume, abortion in the Roman Empire, was a common practice, […]

1st & 2nd Century Texts

Most believers are unfamiliar with the majority of what has been covered thus far. Some have an awareness of the church Fathers and Apologists discussed in the previous articles. Yet among these there is still a general ignorance of what they had to say. Even fewer have heard of the many Christian texts produced in […]

“I came that they might have LIFE, and have it more abundantly.”

John 10:10

We Are My Choice Is Life

My Choice is Life is a global ministry whose primary purpose is to disseminate information on what is the proper Christian position pertaining to life. We are stalwart defenders of the reality of personhood: that each individual is made in the image of God and, as His image bearers, are intrinsically valuable.

We are anti-abortion because we affirm the Commandment “Do not murder”, as this is an act that destroys the person in his or her most vulnerable condition. We are unshakeable proponents of the fact that the acceptance and support of such acts has spiritual implications upon an individual life, a society, and an entire nation.

We are pro-life, as this is what the Lord Jesus himself stated He came to provide. We believe it is of the utmost importance for the believing community to orient itself, both individually and collectively, with what we have come to understand are the biblical and orthodox views on the matter of life; and to act in accordance with them.

Therefore, it is the primary objective of My Choice is Life to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God and its view on life to the Body of Christ in order that it may realign with the Head and submit to the standards and principles of His rule.

The Indirect Approach

Before ground troops are sent in, specific enemy targets must first be neutralized, for then any efforts made in the battle to abolish abortion will be more effective, as the enemy’s works in that arena will then have been rendered useless. Therefore, none of My troops should charge ahead into battle, for in the war […]

Give Your Ascent, Give Your Consent

I heard, “Give your assent, give your consent!” Then the Lord said this: “A line in the ground has been drawn, yet do My children ignore its existence. For in rebellion do their hearts remain, though they claim to be devout followers of My Son. Yet do their actions speak otherwise, for their […]

Stay The Course

“Divide and conquer” is the strategy now in effect on the battlefield against legalized abortion, which has spread thin the enemy’s troops. Thus can large gaps be found amongst his lines which means that, in this hour, lies the possibility to make significant inroads in the fight to save the pre-born, where the groundwork is […]

The Indirect Approach

“He is the gate which leads to the abolishment of abortion in this nation. For the hearts of this people must change so that they no longer desire to do evil. Therefore, it’s not arguing whether or not a fetus is a human being, or if abortion is a woman’s right, that shall cause this […]
