It is not hyperbole to say the greatest existential threat currently facing humanity is abortion. The CDC records 199 abortions per 1,000 live births; approximately 3,085 abortions per day, 129 per hour, and 1 every 28 seconds. The WHO estimates that, globally, 73 million abortions are conducted annually. 1 to 1.5 billion abortions since Roe v. Wade in 1973.
Contrast that to a Brown University study4 which credits the total number of military combatant deaths at approximately 6 – 9 million people during that same timeframe (1973-2025).
The abortion numbers don’t lie. Global death rates are but a part of the devastation it produces. The view that life is easily disposable and the moral depravity inherent to abortion, cannot be overemphasized, affecting the world population in general and the Christian church’s compromise with it in particular. Abortion is evil with no varying shades of grey.
My Choice is Life was birthed from the conviction that there is no middle ground when it comes to abortion. It has been, is, and will always be, a black-and-white issue. We define ourselves and the stances we take to exemplify that conviction.
My Choice is Life is a global ministry whose primary purpose is to provide well documented information and clearly state what is the historically orthodox and modern day equivalent Christian position pertaining to life.
We believe it is of the utmost importance for the believing community to orient itself, both individually and collectively, with that understanding and act in accordance with it.
We are stalwart defenders of the reality of personhood: that each individual is made in the image of God and, as his image bearers, are intrinsically valuable.
We are anti-abortion because we affirm that the Commandment “do not murder” as this is an act that destroys the person in his or her most vulnerable condition.
We are unshakeable proponents of the fact that the acceptance and support of such acts has spiritual implications upon an individual life, a society, and an entire nation.
We are pro-life as this is what the Lord Jesus himself stated he came to provide.
Therefore, it is the primary objective of My Choice is Life to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God and its view on life to the Body of Christ in order that it may realign with the Head and submit to the standards and principles of his rule.
The evil of abortion is not a political issue, it is the greatest threat humanity is currently facing. That is why we at My Choice is Life maintain the position that, with regard to abortion, there can be no compromises, no exceptions, and no middle ground.
