All Is Well

Introduction

As I sat in the Lord’s presence around 8:00 pm on the night of the election, I received a word. But before I did, I also saw a few things.

The first thing I saw was the map of the United States. It was lit up, like you see when flying overhead at night. As I watched, starting with the East coast and moving westward, the power began to go out. Each grid or time zone went dark, one after the other. As these did so, I heard the loud *thud* of breaker switches. By the end, all the lights had gone out. All that was left were small fires, strewn across the national landscape—few and far between.

After this, I saw a familiar scene. It was the scene from Star Wars, Episode 3, Revenge of the Sith. Senator Palpatine was standing in the middle of the senate, hooded and marred, declaring the beginning of the Galactic Empire.  The crowd cheered, as it did in the film. As I watched, the vision began to focus and slowly zoom in on Palpatine’s face. Under the hood of his cloak his face was dark and shadowy. It bore resemblance to Donald Trump’s face, but only slightly. The left half of the face was completely blacked out, while the right half was a dark gray. As I looked at the face, the right eye began to glow red.

After that, I received the word mentioned above.

“And it will pass through it distressed and hungry, and this shall happen: when it is hungry, it will be enraged, and it will curse its king and its gods, and it will face upward or look to the earth. But look! Distress and darkness, the gloom of affliction! And it will be thrust into darkness!”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭8‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ ‭LEB‬‬

Prophetic Word

Fine.

Everything’s fine now.

It’s all gone back to normal.

All is well.

It’s Quiet.

A strange quiet.

A manufactured calm.

A fictitious peace.

All is made right.

The evildoers have been exposed.

Brought to justice.

Faith has been restored.

No more reason to doubt.

No more need to question.

Truth has won the day.

Or so it would seem.

Behind the scenes.

In the shadows.

A dark agenda continues.

Now able to operate freely.

Invited in.

Given permission to do so.

Clandestine.

Discreet.

But constant.

Progressing.

Tirelessly.

Ceaselessly.

Working.

Yet who is aware of its presence?

Who knows of its existence?

Who has eyes to see shadows moving in the dark?

The Power Has Gone Out

The power has gone out.

A sweeping outage.

A rolling blackout.

Darkness covers the nation.

A land of shadow.

Only the light of small fires.

Isolated flames.

Beacons.

Lit by strikes of Lightning.

Fire from Heaven.

Not enough to deter the shadows.

Not enough to reveal their movements.

Not yet…

But for now.

This is the landscape.

A Land of Shadow.

Blacked out.

Dark.

Stumbling.

Lost.

Telling themselves everything’s fine.

While groping around in the dark.

Searching…

Unable to see.

Not knowing how to turn the lights back on.

It Happens On Epiphany

Epiphany.

It happens on Epiphany.

Reality sets in.

Revealed for what it is.

Installed.

Once installed.

Set in place.

Rolled in.

The Horse opens.

The contents set loose.

The internal attack begins.

Brought down.

The Walls are still intact.

Standing.

Powerless to defend.

To repel what is occurring.

The enemy within the gate.

Epiphany.

It happens on Epiphany.

A dark eureka.

Late.

Too late.

Precedents will be created.

Standards will be reset.

Difficult to be walked back once in place.

But not impossible.

The Old Testament

When approaching abortion in the Old Testament, there are a number of ways it could be addressed. Perhaps the clearest avenue would be in dealing with the issue of child sacrifice, that first appears in the narrative of Abraham, which spans through the time of the post-exilic Prophets and the Intertestamental or Second Temple period. Though the evil of child

The New Testament & 2nd Temple Period

When we approach how the New Testament addresses certain topics and practices, it’s extremely important to recognize that the contextual matrix and theological worldview from which the writers were drawing is incredibly rich. This richness is due in no small part to the 400 years that preceded it, known as the Second Temple period. In this article, we will examine

Introduction: Abortion & The Kingdom

Instead of beginning with the oldest scriptural references to ascertain the correct stance a “Christian” should take on the global issue and practice of abortion, it seems much more prudent to work backwards toward the earliest foundations of Christianity.    Contrary to what most would assume, abortion in the Roman Empire, was a common practice, prior to and during the

1st & 2nd Century Texts

Most believers are unfamiliar with the majority of what has been covered thus far. Some have an awareness of the church Fathers and Apologists discussed in the previous articles. Yet among these there is still a general ignorance of what they had to say. Even fewer have heard of the many Christian texts produced in the Post-apostolic era (beyond the
