I heard the phrase, “misapplied trust”.
Then the Lord said this:
Many of my children, those who call themselves Americans, still wrongly believe that the battle for the future of their nation shall be won at the ballot box, and so have set their sights upon the contenders in that arena instead of the actual field of battle, where the real fight for this nation is being waged.
Yet do these children still assume that simply because they have the right to vote that my permission for them to do so is automatic. For they have been taught that failing to participate in the electoral process is akin to sin, one of which I would surely count against them (though no such command was ever uttered from my mouth). Even still shall they fall into line once again and get out and vote, for in “misapplied trust” can these children be found operating, as they have placed too much trust in the words of their leaders, both spiritual and political.
It is quite easy to discern, for any who have eyes to see, that those faith leaders are pushing the agenda of the political right, for from their mouths do they echo the political jargon of the current administration. However, because misplaced trust, like scales, has covered the eyes of these children, their judgment is clouded, thereby preventing them from seeing the truth. And so, as loyal foot soldiers for the political right, shall these children remain, for sadly do they believe the values of my kingdom and those of the political right to be one and the same.
Then out to the polls shall they march, proving once again where their true loyalties lie, and to whom their hearts are bowed. For though from their mouths these children may proclaim that there is no other king but King Jesus, in their hearts have they exalted another, and it is to him that they are beholden, and thus are eager to do his bidding.
So though I have previously stated My position on the matter of voting at this present time, which is: that my children are to abstain from participating in the political system, yet because that position goes against not only their own sensibilities, but stands indirect opposition to the message coming from church pulpits and the Oval Office, these children shall flatly reject the idea of abstention.
So then absent from the real battle shall these children remain, for their thoughts have been conditioned to view the war between the political left and right to be the battle that must be won, though in reality, the fight over life is the battle that concerns Me. And while they think themselves to be staunch supporters of the rights of the pre-born, foolishly they have believed that by aligning with the political right their pro-life stance is affirmed. However, what these children have overlooked is that missing from the party platform of the right is any language that condemns abortion from conception to birth. For the silence of that party platform on the matter of early abortions speaks louder than words, as the political right desires to be thought of as pro-life and yet “reasonable” when it comes to abortion limits and, as such, are not really anti-abortion after all.
Then to support abortion in any form, even within the first six weeks of development, is still to be pro-abortion, as a life should be considered a life from the time it begins, and valued just the same as those lives already born; for in My eyes there is no difference between the two, as each is already fully known by Me. Therefore, it is simply a lie to think that terminating a pregnancy in its earliest stages to be a lesser evil than ending one in its later stages. For abortion is abhorrent no matter when it is done.
Yet do these children seem to overlook that fact when it comes to casting their vote, for they will give their ascent to most any candidate that stands on the political right, even when that candidate clearly states he/she is for abortion within certain gestational limits. For to them, that is a much easier pill to swallow than the more liberal positions of the left, though both are condoning the murdering of the pre-born.
See then, have I instructed, and am I instructing, My children to break partnership with the political system of this nation, for it is wholly corrupt. As such are they no longer to participate in the electoral process. And while I have previously stated My wishes, still will these children not listen, for they have already made up their minds concerning this matter. For to them the only path to securing America’s future is by continuing to get out and vote.
Even still do I say to these children, “Stop putting your trust in the systems of man. For the recovery of this nation’s future shall not be reclaimed at the ballot box, as the change needed to see her future is restored does not involve the casting of votes. So no longer place your trust there, as it is only by the working of My hand that this nation shall be saved. Therefore, look to Me instead. Then don’t say to yourselves, “I will go out and vote!”. Thus do I say to you again, ABSTAIN!”
