Pro-Choice Does He Remain

Wordplay

Nothing more

A calculated move meant to shore up his base. Surely that man Trump still stands upon a pro-abortion platform.

Pro-choice does he remain

“Exceptions” are his excuse

However many still believe him to be a crusader for life simply because he says what their ears are longing to hear.

An empty gesture

A performative act

His words spoken like a true politician

Carefully crafted

An endorsement for “life”

Yet under his watch have the abortion rates only risen, for he has done very little to quell that number. Still shall many accept his rhetoric of being the most pro-life president in the history of America.

A parade of “defenders”

A peaceful demonstration

Sadly has that yearly march become little more than a soapbox for politicians and those who stand to gain monetarily by promoting the plight of the pre-born.

A Speech

A public address

Each echoing the same message that “every child is a gift”

Ah but do I say, “Hypocrites! For from their mouths do they profess that truth, but their actions speak otherwise. For both Trump and that man Vance can still be found supporting a woman’s right to choose even if only within certain limitations. Nonetheless are they still advocating for the murder of the pre-born.

A fact often forgotten

A truth deliberately overlooked

Even still should it be remembered that that man Trump is admittedly pro-abortion, though right now he is attempting to frame himself in a different light.

Christianese

Religious jargon

Thus does he speak. For surely is he attempting to sound like a true believer and as one who is a champion of the unborn.

Political fodder

Used to win support

As such to him are the pre-born

A talking point

A sound bite

For in his heart does he not actually believe his own rhetoric, for he still views legalized abortion as being beneficial to women. Yet do the crowds cheer at his every word, as they think him to be someone that he is not.

And so under the leadership of Trump does the slaughter of the pre-born go on, for the doors of the death mills are still open for business and the abortion pill is still easily accessible nationwide. So then little has actually changed along the legalized abortion front with Trump in command, for the pre-born can still be murdered in every state of this nation, as even in those states where abortions are banned, medical abortions are still occurring without any repercussions.

Yet shall those who consider themselves to be pro-life continue to sing his praises, for they are easily fooled by his words. For to them does he emphasize the importance of “life”. However, he was recently found urging his fellow Republicans to again compromise on abortion as a strategy to obtain favor with the American voter, so that his party retains power.

Oh the evil that dwells in the heart of that man Trump, as he uses the lives of the pre-born like a bargaining chip and, as such, actually cares little of their fate. For if they benefit him more by being aborted, then so be it; as to him that is simply the cost involved in winning elections. Thus in his heart has he dehumanized the pre-born. Yet, sadly, is that true of most Americans, for they, too, do not count the baby developing in the womb as a full fledged human being.

Compromise, the ploy

An appeal to reason, the snare

Thus shall the loyalty of My children once again be tested

Will they again give their ascent to legalized abortion by participating in the upcoming election, or will they stand with Me and abstain? For as I have said before, neither party should be considered a viable option, as both platforms, thanks to the efforts of Trump, are pro-abortion. Thus a vote cast for either side allows the darkness behind legalized abortion to remain firmly rooted in the ground of this nation.

Then, to My children do I ask, “Are you willing again to give your ascent to legalized abortion by voting in the mid-term elections, or have you finally come to your senses, and thus shall abstain?”

Let Me remind you of My position on that matter, for it has not changed: “The murdering of the pre-born is, and always shall be, abhorrent to Me, no matter the reason it is done. Therefore, the excuse of supporting that wicked practice to win elections is not something I would ever condone. As such, should you not fall for that ruse again which insists compromise is okay as long as it is for a worthy cause. For I tell you now, It is not!”

Hear Me then, dear ones, “Your loyalty is about to be put to the test. Thus should you, even now, consider carefully what you will do. Will you stand with Me no matter the consequences, or will you, again, give into the pressure to compromise? The choice is up to you.”

The Old Testament

When approaching abortion in the Old Testament, there are a number of ways it could be addressed. Perhaps the clearest avenue would be in dealing with the issue of child sacrifice, that first appears in the narrative of Abraham, which spans through the time of the post-exilic Prophets and the Intertestamental or Second Temple period. Though the evil of child

The New Testament & 2nd Temple Period

When we approach how the New Testament addresses certain topics and practices, it’s extremely important to recognize that the contextual matrix and theological worldview from which the writers were drawing is incredibly rich. This richness is due in no small part to the 400 years that preceded it, known as the Second Temple period. In this article, we will examine

Introduction: Abortion & The Kingdom

Instead of beginning with the oldest scriptural references to ascertain the correct stance a “Christian” should take on the global issue and practice of abortion, it seems much more prudent to work backwards toward the earliest foundations of Christianity.    Contrary to what most would assume, abortion in the Roman Empire, was a common practice, prior to and during the

1st & 2nd Century Texts

Most believers are unfamiliar with the majority of what has been covered thus far. Some have an awareness of the church Fathers and Apologists discussed in the previous articles. Yet among these there is still a general ignorance of what they had to say. Even fewer have heard of the many Christian texts produced in the Post-apostolic era (beyond the
